We understand what a workplace injury can mean to your employee and their family, as well as the lost productivity you may experience while they’re off work. That’s why we’ve dedicated time and resources to develop a workers comp program focused on returning your employees to work as quickly and as safely as possible.
We have a large team of physicians and staff who are specialty trained in workplace injuries. They’re familiar with the reporting and documentation requirements of employers, case managers and insurance carriers to make claims processing go smoothly. Nurse case managers are welcome to come with your employee to their appointments.
We will assign one contact person to your company, your employee, their case manager, and your insurance carrier. They will be responsible for coordinating care, keeping you informed, and addressing any questions or concerns you may have.
We’ll send all necessary updates and paperwork, including work release and disability forms, to you, the nurse case manager and your insurance carrier within 24 hours of your employee’s visit. You’ll receive accurate information and be kept up to date on the status of your employee’s injury, as well as the estimated timing of their return to work.
Our on-site orthopaedic urgent care center is available for employees who need to be seen the same day as their injury, and visits to urgent care typically cost less than ER visits. If surgery is required to treat your employee, procedures can often be performed at Muskegon Surgery Center on an outpatient basis. This may also reduce overall treatment costs.
We offer priority scheduling for our workers comp patients for in-person office visits and virtual follow up appointments via telehealth.
We offer full translation services for the hearing impaired, and for those who do not speak English or for whom English is a second language.
